There are a variety of responsibilities that make up the core service area of household management. People often need assistance with budgeting concerns. ILS specialists work with the consumer to help them develop an organized means of tracking their spending and making sure their current bills are paid on time.
In some cases it may be necessary to have a rep-payee service in place to further assist the consumer. ILS specialists are able to assist consumers with understanding and setting up these services if necessary. We are also knowledgeable about Special Needs Trust fund resources for individuals who have acquired an asset level that may make them ineligible for necessary assistance programs.
ILS specialist's also assist consumer's in other areas for instance: cooking, laundry, and cleaning. The level of training each consumer will need to complete these chores will vary. Our goal is to give each person the required training/assistance that will increase their overall quality of life.
In situations where additional help is necessary, we are knowledgeable of different resources available to meet their needs. CADI/BI waiver recipients have access to many of these resources already. ILS is able to help understand these resources and provide the necessary support in managing them effectively.
